Forum ‘New Mechanisms and Opportunities in Triangular Cooperation between the EU and Ibero-America’

The project on Knowledge Generation and New Instruments in EU-LAC Triangular Cooperation, led by SEGIB within the framework of ADELANTE 2, held its closing seminar on 2 and 3 December 2025 in Montevideo (Uruguay). The event, led by SEGIB in collaboration with the EU and AUCI, brought together cooperation officials and/or delegates from Ibero-America, experts and multilateral organisations to present the findings of the project and reflect on this modality across different topics.

The event was conceived as a platform for reflection and exchange to strengthen bi-regional triangular cooperation (EU-LAC), in which the experts who carried out the studies and instruments planned in the project were able to present their work in panels dedicated to analysis from a multidimensional perspective.
