South-South and Triangular Co-operation and Indigenous Peoples
This report presents a synthesis of the main results of the Study on South-South and Triangular Cooperation with Indigenous Peoples, whose objectives included building the foundations of a strategy and defining basic instruments for working in Triangular Cooperation with indigenous peoples and communities.
The document is structured in three parts. The first part presents and analyses the background to the current institutional framework for the management of indigenous affairs in Ibero-America; the second part presents an assessment of SSC for and with indigenous peoples, and a description of South-South and Triangular Cooperation initiatives carried out over the last 20 years. Finally, the third part proposes guidelines and directives for the structuring, development and/or promotion of South-South and Triangular Cooperation with and/or for indigenous peoples.
