The EU-SEGIB partnership for strengthening Triangular Cooperation

Given SEGIB’s experience in triangular cooperation, a partnership was established with the EU to lead two projects: Innovative Triangular Cooperation for a new development agenda (2019-2023) and Generation of knowledge and new instruments for EU-LAC Triangular Cooperation (2021-2026).

The first project generated tools through a strategy of collective construction combining technical dialogue with political discussion and negotiation. The second project provides continuity – and in some cases with operational application – to several of the findings of the first, and also contributes effectively to the development and strengthening of the EU-LAC bi-regional partnership through new TC work themes.
