Proposal for a Decentralised Triangular Cooperation Instrument: technical and operational bases
Building on the study Notes for an Ibero-American Ecosystem of South-South and Triangular Decentralised Cooperation (2022), expanding it and updating it, this proposal outlines a possible instrument for promoting Triangular Cooperation focused on cities, and explores how existing networks, mechanisms and organisations could be brought together to achieve a significant impact on local development.
The proposal does not aim to start from scratch, as the D-SSTrC ecosystem is vast and complex. Instead, it proposes ‘providing an appropriate qualitative and quantitative boost, aligned with global sustainability agendas and the local development strategies of each territory’.
